The best way to fully appreciate music is to take a stroll down the history of it. There are many museums around the country, but there a few that are dedicated strictly to music.
The Beatles Story

The Beatles happen to be one of music’s biggest acts so it is no surprise that their museum is one of the most popular. The Beatles Story is located in Liverpool, England and the whole museum is dedicated to the rock group. Around 300,000 visitors attend each year. It opened in 1990 and features John Lennon’s round spectacles, George Harrison’s first guitar, a replica of the Cavern Club and so much more Beatles history and artifacts.
Beethoven Haus

Classical music lovers can checkout Beethoven’s museum in Bonn, Germany. The small museum is dedicated to the composer and happens to be located in his birthplace. The museum includes artifacts from Beethoven’s life that includes books, letters and his famous sheet music. Guests can also enjoy his music as it plays through out the museum. It was founded back in 1889 by the Beethoven-Haus association. The association is dedicated to studying the life and music of Beethoven. The research center is located next to the museum, which has a library, a publishing house and a music hall.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is located in downtown Cleveland and has been open since 1983. The museum is dedicated to archiving the history of some of the best-known and most influential producers, engineers and artists who have in some way shaped the music industry. In 1997, the museum opened their first major exhibit called I want to Take You Higher: The Psychedelic Era, 1965-1969. It included artifacts from the Monterey International Pop Festival, Woodstock and included artists John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin and more. Inductees into the hall of fame include Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Madonna, Kiss and most recently Green Day.
