Sometimes you just got to go out and grab a bite to eat and some drinks late at night. Not every place is open, but these spots in Charleston are open late and offer delicious food, coffee, wine and even whiskey.

The Cocktail Club

The Cocktail Club is one of a kind is a favorite among locals. Located on lively King Street, the place is decorated with plush leather chairs and the rooftop is a lot of fun. Guests can take in the breathtaking view of historic Charleston through the open ceiling. The cocktail menu is very impressive and drinks are served with fresh, local ingredients. You also can’t miss their lengthy menu of whiskey, bourbon and rye.

Social Wine Bar & Restaurant

The Social Wine Bar and Restaurant is open till 2.am. and is conveniently located near the tourist spot of Market Street. The bar offers an extensive list of white and red wines. They serve red wine from France and also wines from local producers. The atmosphere is perfect to have some glasses of wine with friends.

Michael’s On the Alley serves high quality surf and turf. The restaurant is not far from King Street and the menu is full of fresh seafood and prime cuts of meat. It is more of an upscale choice, but it gives diners the ultimate elegant dining experience late at night.

Kudu is a terrific coffee shop that is open even late. They offer tasty treats and the best coffee, hot chocolate and espresso. The small shop also serves local beer. It is a very friendly spot that has a beautiful patio complete with a mini fountain. Also, their butter croissants are out of this world.
