Move Over Cat Cafes, Britain Has a Cat Pub

We all have heard of cat cafes, but a cat pub? Britain has some great pubs, but Britain is also home to a cat pub that every cat and beer lover must check out. Bag Of Nails is located in Bristol, right on St. George’s Road and it the purrfect spot to grab a cold one and pet some cats.

Bag Of Nails not only serves delicious pints of beers, but the place is also usually occupied with a handful of adorable cats. The cats roam around the pub sitting on the bar, tables and even the laps of lucky guests.

The pub currently homes 15 cats and everyone seems to love this concept. Some guests have had to leave because they are allergic, but having cats inside the pub really hasn’t hurt business one bit.

The cats are very special to the pub because all of them, but one, were born inside the bar. And one of the cats was even born while the pub was hosting a quiz night. Bag Of Nails has become an Instagram sensation with guests constantly posting photos of their frosty mugs alongside cute cats.

I think this idea is great. If cat cafes can be successful, why can’t a cat pub be just as successful? Everyone loves beer and kitties and especially when you get to enjoy the two together. Plus, if it is helps keep cats off the streets then I am all for it.
