It is that time of year, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is just around the corner and it is a big one this year. The 75th Annual rally kicks off on August 1st and it is expected to be the biggest of all time.

The rally kicks off August 1st and lasts about 7 days. But there tends to be a lot of people that head out there early and stay a few days later. So actually, the town is quite busy for a full two weeks for the rally.

Buffalo Chip is the place to be to catch some awesome concerts. There is always a good lineup of rock bands. This year, Alice Cooper, Styx, Lynard Skynard and more will take the stage.

Usually the population of the city goes from around 7,000 to 250,000 for the rally. Many reality shows are filmed during the rally. Even celebrities have made appearances and I am sure a lot more will be there this year for the 75th annual.

Vendors and food trucks line the city and many bikers park their bike on Main Street. They walk up and down rows of motorcycles while mingling and stopping at vendors.

The weather is always beautiful during this time, usually around 80 degrees. Be prepared for a rainstorm one day though, it seems like every year there is a day where weather is a challenge.

While attending the rally, there are lots of cool places to check out outside of Sturgis. You can take a bike ride up to Mt. Rushmore or even cruise to Deadwood for some gambling.

Of course, with it being the 75th annual, there is going to be tons to do in Sturgis itself!
