Star Wars has taken over the world. Fans are counting down the days until the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will hit theaters on December 18th. But Air France is giving fans a chance to catch the new film a few days early.
Disney and Lucasfilm have paired up with yet another company, the airline Air France. The airline is offering a Flight & Cinema package for four different flights departing from New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles and heading to Paris on December 15th. When you book one of these flights, you will receive a ticket to a screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the next day, December 16th. This means you will be able to see the film two days before the official release date.
I am curious to see how many Star Wars fans will book this flight just so they can see the film early. After all, Star Wars has one of the largest fan bases. It seems like stores are covered in everything Star Wars and the science-fiction franchise has recently teamed up with a number of companies to promote their latest film.
Companies like Cover Girl and Max Factor carry Star Wars makeup and the franchise has also teamed up with Verizon. When you go to the mall, there is tons of Star Wars merchandise and a lot of companies are starting to profit off the success of the classic movies.
