Obviously the Sydney Opera House is one of the most beautiful structures ever built by man and rightfully considered among the new “7 Wonders of the World”. After seven years of construction and $102 million dollars (Australian), the team of world renowned architects had created much more than a building. With more than 6225 meters of glass and concrete roof sections that weigh over 15 tons, the shell shaped marvel is comprised of over 1,000 rooms for both natives and tourists alike to gawk at.
Among the Sydney Opera House is the world famous Taronga Zoo. Home of thousands of species of animals, the native animals such as the kangaroo, wallaby and koala bears attract tourists to later feast their eyes on the more exotic. Albino kangaroos and crocodiles are among the rare species along with one of the worlds largest collection of reptiles.
Conclusively, if you’re not into opera or the zoo, women do still outnumber men in Australia 7:1.
