Pirates of the Caribbean is one of Disneyland’s most famous rides. The theme song from the ride is loosely based off of the sea-shanty Dead Man’s chest from the novel Treasure Island. The song was composed specifically for the attraction back in 1967. It really has become a symbol of the ride and is one of the best parts of Pirates of the Caribbean.

It’s a Small World

It’s a Small World is one of the most performed songs in the world. The ride in Fantasyland takes guests through different cultures of the world while promoting world peace. The ride opened in 1966 and the theme song can be translated into all different languages very easily. Walt Disney loved the song so much he renamed the attraction from Children of the World to It’s a Small World right before it opened.

The theme song for the Enchanted Tiki Room is a lot of fun and a favorite among kids. Songwriters wrote the song in 1963. It became the first time a song was written for an audio-animatronics attraction. There is now way guests can leave the attraction without singing the tune.

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah is featured in the ride Splash Mountain. It happens to be the theme song from Disney’s 1946 animated movie Song of the South and won an academy award for best song. It is played during finale of the ride and there is a ship named Zip-a-Dee Lady on the ride while the song is playing.
