Lisbon is home to amazing dessert called pasetel de nata. They are tiny tarts filled with custard and are in bakeries across Portugal. The pastry was created at the Pasteis de Belem. There are a lot of places that try to make them, but none are quite like the original. There is always a line, but these yummy desserts are well worth the wait. If you really want to enjoy a pastel de nata the best way possible, top it off with powdered sugar.
