Schenely Park in Pittsburgh
The 2nd largest municipal park in Pittsburgh has been named one of the coolest city parks in the country. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district. The park is right next to the campuses of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, so it is a popular spot for college students. During the summer, the park hosts music concerts and movies on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. It doesn’t have to be the daytime to have a picnic!

Grant Park is a large urban park and located in Chicago’s central business district. It is one of the most notable features in Chicago and is surrounded by awesome attractions.
