Yum! Craziest Fair Foods

Some of the craziest foods ever invented can be found at a fair near you. It seems like every year, state fairs get even more ridiculous with their food concoctions. Each fair offers a variety of fried and chocolate covered goodness. Check out these insane foods served up at fairs across the country.

Fried Jellybeans

Looking for some fried candy? Then head on over to West Springfield, Massachusetts. The fair here offers fried jellybeans. It is a mix of candy and funnel cake. The jellybeans are dipped in batter and then deep-fried!

Pickle Popsicle
Hutchison, Kansas offers a sour and sweet popsicle. The freezer pop is filled with pickle juice. The cold super sour popsicle goes great with Kansas’s barbeque!

Hot Beef Sunday
You can find a hot beef Sunday at the fair in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indiana’s Beef Cattle Associated invented this meat style Sunday. It is layered with mashed potatoes, marinated beef, gravy, cheese with corn sprinkled on top with a cherry tomato.

Fried Ice Cream Cheeseburger
Tampa, Florida offers a sweet and salty option. The fair in Tampa has a cheeseburger topped with deep fried ice cream. It has often been described as a milk shake burger.

We all have heard of chocolate-covered bacon, but on a stick? Columbus, Ohio is home to the muddy pig. It is bacon on a stick that is dipped in chocolate. (Just like the name says!)

Spaghetti and Meatballs on a Stick
Another odd food option on a stick? Spaghetti and meatballs. In Falcon Heights, Minnesota they offer candy apples and camel meat on a stick. But they also have spaghetti mixed into a meatball, cooked, battered, friend and rolled in marinara sauce and all put on a stick.

Krispy Kreme Hamburger
Alabama offers one of the most intense fair foods. The Krispy Kreme Hamburger is a quarter pound hamburger with bacon, cheese and two glazed Krispy Kremes used as buns. The hamburger has 1,100 calories and 67 grams of fat.
